Down by the lake at our apartment complex. A bunch of geese families (didn’t see any goslings today) and a swan we’ve named Swan live there.

We had some dolly fun down by the lake this afternoon. I took Virgil, my Soom Aphan. He’s one of my favorite dolls that I own.

This is the largest cemetery I’ve ever been to. It’s beautiful.

So we went to the salon today, and I got my hair chopped off. Here are two recent before pictures, and the after. It’ll take some getting used to (I’ve never had it so short), but I feel like Mary Margaret from Once Upon A Time.

Another luna moth encounter yesterday, same place and time. Don’t know if it’s the same one as before. This one was male too but pretty beat up. Had some difficulty getting him to stay safely in a tree. But he managed to fly up onto a high branch before I had to get back to work.

This beautiful luna moth came to visit me today while on break at work. I just stumbled upon him when I was heading back inside. He was still full of life and flew into a tree when I tried picking him up. I’ve never seen a luna moth in person. I’ve always wanted to see one. In May last year, I had the pleasure of meeting my first larger moth—a polyphemus moth that had become attached to me. I never knew if I’d be lucky enough to come across a luna.

I believe there was a reason I had this “random” encounter with this little guy today.

Last night in a dream, a little over 4 months since my dad passed away, I think I finally received the sign I’ve been waiting for to let me know his soul is okay and lives on somewhere.

I’ve been worrying over this a lot lately, that I still haven’t received the sign I asked for. At my dad’s funeral, as I stood beside his casket, I silently pleaded and prayed for my dad to give me a sign to let me know he was okay…even if that sign was in a dream.

The dream I had was a lucid dream (only had them about twice, and haven’t had one in a while), and the first time I haven’t woken up when I realized it was a dream.

Last night, the first dream I had, I saw my dad. I knew in the dream that his purpose in this dream was to visit me.

He looked relatively the same age as he was when he died, perhaps a bit younger, but healthier. He didn’t have a cane (for many years he’d walked with one). We were outside, on a playground, very open.

I hugged him for a long time. I asked him where he’d been.

He said he’d been with two other people whose names I didn’t recognize. I didn’t question who they were, I just accepted it, and we moved into a conversation that I can’t remember. But I didn’t ask him anything about death or the afterlife.

I think the people he visited are significant. Kym’s mom had told me that after her dad died, she had a dream where he was in it. He told her he was helping someone, a name she didn’t recognize.

In my dream, after I talked with my dad for a bit about things I can’t remember, the dream shifted into one of my ordinary, stupid dreams.

I woke up a bit after that dream with my dad, and I felt relieved. Then I fell back asleep and had some dreams with recurring themes.

I believe having that dream, followed by seeing that luna moth later in the day…seems like a pretty significant sign to me.

Ciprian is so glad his brother Xander is home (Ciprian’s mine, Xander belongs to Kym). He was wearing Xander’s jacket because it reminded him of Xander…but now he’s got the real thing.

Sebastian (one of Xander’s fathers *coughs*), is also glad to see Xander. (Sebastian’s mine, Xander belongs to Kym.)

Instagram photos of our kitties today.

Moomoo was behaving well with Jim, our new cactus. But Sugarbush was sniffing him then tried to bite on him, so we gotta watch that little brat.

It’s a beautiful day, and the windows are open. This sugarbush is glued to them. We’ve also got pretty red flowers blooming outside the kitchen window.

Any of you on Instagram? Find me here! I just downloaded it to my phone. I mostly just have up pictures of my cats right now, haha.
